Artificial Intelligence

  Artificial Intelligence

Introduction

As per the famous Daniel Bell, "Technology, like art, is the soaring exercise of human imagination." It is also most difficult to imagine the world today without the internet and cellphones, but this has not always been the case. It has almost taken 30 years and four industrial revolutions to reach the world we live in today! Modern technology has become so advanced that it is on the brink of replacing human activities and human emotions. One such advanced form of technology includes Al or machine learning.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is a part of technology that can process information and make decisions without human supervision. Researchers have been working hard on the technology for a very long time, and they still have a long road ahead of them, but Al has now become an integral part of our everyday lives. Many useful characteristics such as navigation apps, video suggestions, facial recognition, and smart assistants are a by-product of artificial intelligence.

Classifications of Artificial Intelligence

According to researchers, there are four broad classifications of Al. The first includes 'Reactive Machine where these machines do not have any memory storage capacity but can process information and make situation-based decisions. These machine learning devices use algorithms and are frequently used in gaming software such as chess and ludo. It is very easy for such programs to think of a million permutations and combinations and reach the most suitable results. Some of the gaming software based on Al is so advanced that even the champions of the field have to take a bow in front of these programmes.

The second type of Al is called 'Limited Memory' technology and has taken the entire world by storm. Not only can such devices take situation-based decisions, but they also store previously analyzed data for future use. A good example of "limited memory' technology is the video recommendation system on any video streaming platform like YouTube. Once the Al figures out the likes and dislikes of the user, it can make decisions on the user's behalf and recommend shows and videos as per the user's interest. The 'limited memory' technology has become an easy way to influence and manipulate the data in masses as they use the thought process of the person himself. Although this is a revolutionary feat, it has also made people more vulnerable and prone to wasteful online shopping and other unusual activities.

The third type of Al, which has not seen much progress yet, includes "Theory of Mind. The idea is to develop a technology that can store and process data and have a human-like thought process that will allow the machine to make important decisions during a crisis. Scientists are working continuously on this project and have come up with some humanoid robots, but the results have not been good enough to replace human work and services. However, we can hope in the future to have a lot of robots doing our work.

The fourth type of Al is the 'Self-awareness' program which seems almost unachievable at this time. It refers to the knowledge of identifying oneself from given surroundings. A machine that would be self-aware would have its own emotions and its own thought process. If someday in the future, science is able to evolve to create 'self-aware' machines, the human race could achieve immortality. And although this idea sounds difficult to believe, it has its supporters in many

advanced scientists such as Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein. These scientists believed that it was possible to store  and replicate human consciousness.

Conclusion

Al has indeed made the world smaller and life more achievable. The distance that would take months to travel, a year ago,

now can be traversed in a matter of a few hours. There is no place on Earth that humans cannot reach. Al has helped

increase the duration of the entire human population by making health facilities cheaper and more accessible. But like every

coin has two faces, Al technology has its pros and cons. We have become so addicted to our devices like mobile games,Alexa and many more that we've replaced them for physical human interaction. Not only is Al taking away from our social life, but it is also increasing health issues. Weaken eyesight, obesity, and cardiovascular issues are just common diseases resulting from the continuous use of technology sitting in one place. Thus, we must be reasonable with using any sort of technology.

Unemployment

 Unemployment

Unemployment is a very serious issue not only in India but in the whole world. There are hundreds and thousands of people out there who do not have employment. Besides, the problems of unemployment are very severe in India because of the growing population and demand for jobs. Moreover, if we neglect this problem then it will be going to become the reason for the doom of the nation.

Apart from all these, a large portion of the population is engaged in the agricultural sector and the sector only provides employment in harvest or plantation time.

In addition, the biggest reason of unemployment in India is its vast population which demands a large number of jobs every year which the government and authorities are unable to provide.

Consequences of Unemployment

If things will go on like the current scenario then unemployment will become a major issue. Apart from this, the following things happen in an economy which is an increase in poverty, an increase in crime rate, exploitation of labor, political instability, mental health, and loss of skills. As a result, all this will eventually lead to the demise of the nation.

My Dream Job

A career that combines activity, talent or passion with a chance to make money is referred to as a dream job. A dream job could be in the performing arts, law, medicine, acting, or any other vocation. Having a dream job offers us the drive to take actions that will help us realise our goals.

A dream can inspire you to pursue your goals, as lacking motivation is akin to lacking the desire or inspiration to do so. Setting the correct path is the first step toward achieving your goals. If the appropriate objectives are defined, one can undoubtedly realise their ambition.

Setting a goal is similar to making a strategy for each step and taking it one at a time. The key to achieving success in life is to have a clear goal in mind. Even though sometimes, not all of your dreams may come true, you should continue to have plans and keep working on achieving them.

My childhood dream has always been to become a doctor. I know the suffering of those who live in poverty and sometimes pass away due to lack of access to expensive medical care. There is no more extraordinary service than providing healthcare to the sick and poor people who suffer greatly in the absence of modern healthcare facilities. After hearing and witnessing some unfortunate incidents of people losing their lives simply because of their financial status motivated me to choose the medical profession. I made the decision to go into medicine and help people.

I'm keenly interested in learning about subjects relating to the human body. I've always been fascinated by how doctors comprehend the illness and successfully treat patients. Biology is my all-time favourite subject. Even though pursuing a profession in medicine is not simple, I'll work tirelessly to finish my studies and acquire my dream position one day.

I intend to help the underprivileged residents of my community once I have earned my medical degree. Numerous fatal diseases affect the poor, and they are unable to pay for better care. I would schedule a few days every month to provide treatment for all the needy people for free or at a minimal fee in an effort to help them receive medical attention that they need and deserve.

The profession of a doctor has the greatest respect. My goal in life is to become a doctor so that I can help others who cannot afford expensive medical care. I would help many people and their families by becoming a doctor. The joy and inner calm that come from rescuing lives transcends all other emotions.

People claim that the only other being capable of miracles after God is a doctor. Being a doctor is a lifetime achievement. By providing patients with medical care and treatment, a doctor relieves other people's pain and suffering. People who practise medicine bring joy to a lot of patients and their families. Not only is becoming a doctor a fantastic job choice, but it also brings inner satisfaction and fulfilment.

Regret

 Regret

"Regret is an odd emotion because it comes only upon reflection" - Jonathan Safran Foer

Regret is a mistake from the past that we feel in the present. In our pursuit of success, we often make mistakes, both knowingly and unknowingly, and these lead to feelings of regret in the present.

At times, we find ourselves wondering about the things we should or shouldn't have done in the past and how they might have impacted our present. This preoccupation can lead to conditions like hypertension, depression, and anxiety. This is becoming increasingly common among today's youth and often leads to sorrow.

Does regret exist in every human being? When it comes to young people who are in the midst of striving towards their dreams, it seems to be more prevalent. However, excessive regret can hinder one's efficiency in their work.

Speaking from my own experience, I struggled academically during my school days and obtained a low score in my 10th grade. After facing numerous challenges, I realized the extent of my father's hard work. He had the capacity to work for almost 20 hours a day. I made a promise to myself to make him proud, and I began to prepare and teach. Sadly, he fell ill in 2018 and passed away in January 2019. From that day onwards, I have always regretted not achieving something substantial while my father was still with me. Additionally, I've also experienced the departure of close friends, leaving me to question the reasons behind their leaving.

We've all made mistakes in the past and felt regret in the present. Should we always dwell on past mistakes? I don't think so. Instead, we should learn from our past and focus on the present. We should strive to fulfil the desires of those close to us and ensure that we never have to regret anything in the future. Inspired by our fathers and the boundless love of our mothers, we should work hard to make them proud and fulfil their wishes.

The Happiest Person

The Happiest Person
''The happiest people seem to be those who have no particular cause of being happy except that they are so''.
                                   William Arthur Ward

🧐"Ask yourself a question today. Are you happy with your life, or are you just going with the flow?
Most of the answers will come from you, such as, "If I get a government job, everything will be good, and I will be happy with my life."
I ask you again: Are you 100% sure that you would be happy? What would happen when you face job pressure, married life pressure, and many of your future dreams? How would you manage your life?

👩🏼I ask the same question to the girls: Are you happy with your life?
They have multiple answers for not being happy in their lives. Some of them will say that if we get a job and marry a well-settled person, then they would be happy."
🗣  I am going to share my friend's story. We used to work at the same institute, but for some reason, I had to leave. After 2-3 years, I received a call from a girl asking me how I was doing and what was going on in my life. I was surprised to hear from her. After talking for a few minutes, she told me that she wanted to resume her studies and find a job. I realized that something was wrong and asked if she was facing any problems. Initially, she denied it and said she was fine, but after I insisted, she started crying and revealed that she was facing difficulties in her married life. She had married into a wealthy political family, but they were treating her like a servant and not respecting her. Feeling trapped, she felt like she had no choice but to consider drastic options. She called me for guidance on what to do.

🤔   After reflecting on this, I've come to realize that many parents and girls believe that their daughters will only be happy if they marry into a rich and well-established family. However, true happiness comes from receiving love and support from one's partner, and cannot be bought with money. A good example of this can be seen in the case of the renowned cricketer, Hardik Pandya.

😊🥰Happiness does not solely depend on wealth; it also requires a contented mind and the desire to acquire things with a sense of peace and composure.
😍When we consider the happiest people, it's clear that they are those who have parents who support them unconditionally and a partner who stands by them through thick and thin, assuring them of their unwavering support. The happiest individuals don't dwell on what they don't have but instead find joy in what they do have.

Silence; It gives you time to think more

Silence; It gives you time to think more

Silence is key; by adopting it, we mature and develop an ability to deal with any type of circumstance.

Imagine you're sitting in front of an interview panel, and they're asking questions in rapid-fire mode. The ability to stay silent while listening to questions and responding with a calm and composed mind can set you apart from other candidates.

In situations where you feel helpless, taking deep breaths and maintaining silence can help you find a solution. Acting impulsively without thinking can lead to worse outcomes.

To achieve your goals sooner, try reducing your use of social media and phone addiction, as they can hinder your thinking and disrupt your mental silence. Additionally, it's beneficial to maintain a healthy lifestyle by sleeping early, waking up early, practising yoga, and exercising, as a peaceful and composed mind resides in a healthy body.
